A 12-month postdoctoral position is available for an experienced interdisciplinary scholar interested in conducting research on environmental justice in India, with a focus on development decisions affecting water resources. The successful candidate will join an international project involving an interdisciplinary team of researchers from Canada and India, supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarships Program. The goal of the project is to understand the impacts of the decisions of Green Benches of state High Courts and regional National Green Tribunals on marginalized communities in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Gujarat.
