In Conflict Resolution Studies (CRS) we aim to understand the nature and dynamics of human conflict. We also look for alternative ways to deal with conflict, ways that develop healthy relationships and prevent violence.
Our goal is to help students understand and respond to personal, local and global conflict.
We are interdisciplinary in our analysis. We look at conflict and how it interacts with violence, power, justice, peace, communication, culture, war, conflict transformation and dispute resolution.
CRS is one of two majors offered through Menno Simons College. Flexibility in the program allows for double majors.
Because its an affiliated college of the University of Winnipeg, Menno Simons College students register and receive their degrees through the University of Winnipeg.
Students Speak Out - with Mediation Services is a collaboration with MSC.
