Scholarships Description
To qualify for a MSC scholarship, students must be full-time, taking a minimum of 9 credit hours per semester at the University of Winnipeg, 3 credit hours of which must be International Development and/or Conflict Resolution Studies courses.
Scholarships are awarded primarily on the basis of academic performance, with some consideration of the applicant’s history of leadership experience, community service, and extracurricular activities.
The MSC scholarship committee administers awards in spring or fall as required by terms set with each scholarship or bursary. The majority of continuing awards are processed at the beginning of March. Entrance awards are processed in late summer.
There are three categories of scholarships: Entrance, Continuing and Renewable; they range from $300 to $1500 per year.
Entrance Scholarships are awarded to students beginning courses at Menno Simons College. Apply with this form (PDF).
Continuing Student Scholarships are awarded to students who have achieved standing in a minimum of 30 credit hours at the University of Winnipeg, and completed a minimum of Introduction to Conflict Resolution or International Development Studies. Apply with this form (PDF).
